Information
NOTE - All info on the website is from the past 2026 festival. (updates for STF 2027 coming in a few weeks)
Location
Our main venue is KULTURAMA, in Hammarby Sjöstad in the south part of town. It's a big school with dance programs and other art educations, and there are dressing rooms with showers. In the entrance hall we have the STF Reception & Lounge.
NOTE - Do not come before 17.00 Thursday April 2nd !!! (unless you're taking an earlier master class of course). The school is still in session and filled with kids, so no space for us to hang until after 17.00.
NOTE - Latest entrance everyday is 22.30. (Thursday 23.30). After that, the door is locked and only used as an emergency exit. Leaving after 22.30 is done only through the exit door by the stairs on floor 2.
Accessibility - Kulturama has entrance at street level with no steps (floor 2, Virkesvägen 21), a big elevator and accessible toilets. We are available to answer questions and give information in Swedish and English. Please contact Jonas or, during the event, the STF reception.
We also use two additional dance studios at FRYSHUSET, a 10 min walk from Kulturama. Only used by the two Main Schedule groups "Advanced" and "Professional"
Opening Show, Wednesday April 1st, is at SÖDRA TEATERN
Faculty Gala, Sunday April 5th, is at TEATER RIVAL
Check-in / STF Reception
There will be STF staff at the venue also Wednesday April 1st and daytime Thursday April 2nd, only to guide those coming for a master class. No reception or check-in.

STF Café
We have our own café serving drinks, coffee, sandwiches, snacks and some dinner options.
- LUNCH PACKAGE - If you have pre-ordered lunch, the service is in the cantina on floor 2.
Nearby services
Pharmacy: DOZ Apotek is a block from Kulturama, address: Hammarby Allé 114. (there is also a 24-hour pharmacy near central station, address: Klarabergsgatan 64)
Cash machine is two blocks from Kulturama, address: Lugnets Allé 25.
Stockholm public transportation
Easiest online journey planning is using Google Maps. Just write the street address of where you want go and it gives you all transportation options and walking directions.
Note 1: Cash doesn't work on public transport, but you can use contactless bank cards.
Note 2: Metro runs all night long during most of the festival (Thursday night to and including Sunday night). Bus 96 runs all night long everyday, passing Kulturama bus/tram stop "Luma"
Traveling from the airport
All three airports have direct buses taking you to Stockholm City: Airport Buses; Arlanda, Bromma & Skavsta. There's also a fast direct train from Arlanda to Stockholm Central Station: Arlanda Express.
Health / Safety / Emergency
We do not tolerate any harassment or discrimination on any grounds, like race, ethnicity, sex, gender identity and/or expression, sexual orientation, religion, ability, age, social origin, physical appearance, body shape or size. If you experience anything first hand, or witness/notice it happening to somebody else - please contact us and we will take appropriate actions. Check out our social media sites for more photos, videos and other good stuff! Also, during the event we publish news and last minute info so that is a very good way to stay updated.
There's an STF Facebook group where you can connect with other participants. Maybe you have a question or a useful tip, or you wanna find someone to split an airport taxi with or share hotel room.

Housing
We have arranged a hotel discount deal with Motel L, 10 min walk from Kulturama and 5 min from Fryshyset. The rate is 890 SEK per night for a double room (1-2 persons), including breakfast. The discount is available until March 15th 23:59 CET, and only using this hotel booking link.
Be aware that the hotel may offer a cheaper rate directly from their website if you are okay with a non-refundable booking.
There are also other hotels and apartments in the area. Just google "hotel Hammarby Sjöstad" and you will see everything available.
Otherwise, Stockholm is not a big city so it's fairly easy to get to the venue from wherever you stay in town. There's a nice hostel not too far away where usually some festival participants are staying: Skanstulls
If you wanna find other festival participants to share housing, try connecting in the STF Facebook group
Another option if you are on a very tight budget is to try and find a fellow dancer who can host guests during the festival, for example ask in the Facebook group Stockholm Tap Jam
